"...He turned to the creature who visited him, Tydian, the vampire. Tydian had once been a philosopher and magician himself
at one time, before he decided to turn into what he was now. He had gained his immortality, but at what cost? His humanity,
his soul, or something else? Tydian had heard of Cymry's problem, a life of trying to acheive peace, and not succeeding. The
vampire had come to him, to offer him the chance to spend all eternity to acheive peace in his homeland.
Cymry thought about this as he looked back out the large window in his private study, watching
the fires that raged in the distance of what used to be a great town. Now, out there on the streets, swords and axes met flesh
and bone, families fought amongst themselves, brother killing brother over land and women. He could take the vampire's gift,
and have forever to turn things back to peace again. Immortality, but at what cost would he pay? He thought hard on this,
and came to one conclusion, he wouldn't pay for this. He would take this embrace into the unlife and turn it into something
positive, a never-ending quest for peace and tranquility throughout the world.
'So,' Tydian started, 'have you an answer to my question?'
Cymry turned his gaze, full of sorrow for his fellow humans, back to the undead visitor and
replied, 'yes, I will take your gift, I wish to save them at any cost.'
Tydian grinned, his pearly white fangs flashing within the smile as he took a step in Cymry's
direction..."
